Karen, who joined us in early 2022, brings a diverse background to our team. With a passion for both animal care and human advocacy, she transitioned from a career in Human Services, specializing in Women's Domestic Violence and Victim Services, to veterinary medicine.
At home, she's surrounded by furry companions, including her beloved bulldog Manny and feline duo Huey and Rosie, while also enjoying the honorary role of part-time grand-dog to Sly. When not at work, Karen cherishes moments with her grandsons, engages in outdoor adventures with her husband Chris, and indulges her creative side through the art of refinishing antiques.
Her commitment to both animal welfare and community support enriches our team and the lives of those around her.
