Lost Pets and Injured Wildlife

LOST PETS: If you find a lost pet, we can scan it for a microchip and check for a tattoo, in case this helps reunite it with their owner.

WILDLIFE: Local wildlife rehabilitation centers will pick up injured wildlife from SAVE, and they can be brought to the clinic. Please call first to ensure that we can arrange for a wildlife pickup. If we are unable to do so, we may recommend taking them to Calgary to a facility where they can be monitored overnight.

For immediate guidance on handling injured wildlife, we recommend reaching out to the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) at 403-946-2361. The AIWC can provide expert advice and guide you on the appropriate steps to take.
